Last Friday.

We came up with the idea of doing an animation about racism (This isn't our final project) This one we done as a class. We came up with a few idea's. In the end we chose a story about the Scottish flag burning the English flag. Everyone got to make a storyboard then we chose which one we all thought worked best. The one that got picked was Rab's. We made the animation from card cut out. This is the final animation :] 

Last Tuesday

Last Tuesday we split into two groups and made separate animation, using "wee bendy men" Our group was: Me, Flea, Adam, Dawn, Abee. Our original idea was to have 3 wee guys standing in a line doing the macareena. We decided that it was too hard but we kept the idea of them dancing. for our background/ set, We got carboard, printed off a picture of a beach and used it as the background. We got packets of brown sugar to make a sand effect, But mixed with glue it turned a bit messy. Our figures wouldn't stand that well. Flea made a palm tree. We then decided we would make the models do the YMCA. We changed it from 3 models to 2, It was easier.  It was a bit harder than we thought but it was still slightly manageable. It all got a bit weird after a while :/ lol. In the end, I made a shark that grabs one of the wee men and drags him away. Adam was in control of the camera & in  the end we ended up taking 110 images. It's looking really good. We haven't finished editing the animation but once its done, I'll upload it to this :] 

Models

A few weeks ago Angie gave us some plasticine for us to get used to. As it's quite hard to manage at first. we were just to make basic models to show what our talents are when it comes to plasticine. I made Harley Quinn ^_^ 

Ohaii.

Right. So i've made this blog to keep a sort of diary type thing of what i've been doing at college :] Of course i hadn't been in for ages but i'm doing okay catching up. I managed to do my listening assessment and i printed off my review, which was to be about my favourite band ( which obviously was Slipknot) & i had to write about their history, albums, gigs etc and my personal opinion about the band. Also caught up with my flipbook animation. Which i drew up, scanned into the computer and edited them in photoshop then imported the images onto iPhoto. I'm that the stage when you start making it into a proper animation on iMovie. My animation is about batman (It was the first thing i thought about) We also watched a James May documentary about plasticine, As that is one of the materials we will be using for our final project - Show Racism The Red Card.
